We study dynamics of relativistic Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs), from launching by shearing foot-points (either slowly - the ``Solar flare'' paradigm, or suddenly ``star quake" paradigm), to propagation in preceding magnetar wind. For slow shear, most energy injected into CME is first spent on work done breaking through over-laying magnetic field. At later stages, sufficiently powerful CMEs may experience ``detonation" and lead opening magnetosphere beyond some equipartition radius $r_{eq}$,...

In today’s rapidly evolving world, the demand for energy is steadily increasing, while need sustainability and efficient resource utilization becomes ever more critical. Smart Energy Management Systems (SEMS) are poised to play a pivotal role in addressing these challenges. Leveraging power of Machine Learning (ML), SEMS offer promising avenue optimize consumption, enhance grid reliability, reduce carbon footprints. This review article provides an in-depth exploration current state empowered...

Abstract Many explosive astrophysical events, like magnetars’ bursts and flares, are magnetically driven. We consider dynamics of such magnetic explosions—relativistic expansion highly magnetized overpressurized clouds. The corresponding qualitatively different from fluid explosions due to the topological constraint conservation flux. Using analytical, relativistic MHD as well force-free calculations, we find that creation a relativistically expanding, causally disconnected flow obeys...

Women constitute a high percentage of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) graduates in India but this is not well reflected at the professional level. It believed that women face numerous challenges, affecting only their choice STEM as career also personal lives. Thus, it essential to understand underlying causes. The study aims explore hurdles faced by CSIR laboratories. A primary survey, using questionnaires, was conducted gain realistic holistic view experiences...

We find a class of twisted and differentially rotating neutron star magnetospheres that do not have light cylinder, generate no wind thus spin-down. The magnetosphere is composed embedded flux surfaces, with the angular velocity decreasing as $\Omega \propto 1/r$ (equivalently, becoming smaller at foot-points closer to axis rotation). For each given North-South self-similar twist profile there set profiles (limited from above) "smooth", dipolar-like magnetic field structure extending...

This done reduce cost because comparatively expensive. Though not required, connection mandatory for system floating mode ensure stability of system, avoid black-outs event CPP failures/trips...
