A new type of ferromagnetic amorphous alloy with a two-phase structure was found in cosputtered Fe-B-N films. The microstructure identified to be composed two phases about 50 Å or less size; one is phase and the other nonmagnetic high resistive boron nitride. homogeneous mixture these films resulted unique features for magnetic electrical properties. In comparison sputtered Fe-B films, exhibit higher saturation magnetizations resistivity 3–103 times higher. compositional dependence Curie...

The effect of the rotating magnetic field annealing on high induction amorphous alloy Fe5Co75Si4B16 (TC≳Tx) was studied. Experimental results and theoretical analysis gave following conclusions. 1) Induced anisotropy is dispersed by annealing. 2) relationship between permeability μ number rotations R given formula 3) useful to eliminate induced anisotropy, especially for materials with TC≳Tx.

Enhanced photocatalytic activity of rutile-based TiO2 materials under general lighting is practically desired. O2 plasma-assisted annealing (PAA) effects on Pt-doped rutile nanoparticles were clarified along with its visible-light-driven enhancement. The PAA-treated samples mainly analyzed using optical spectroscopy and x-ray photoelectron (XPS). was assessed by decomposing methylene blue dye inactivating Bacillus subtilis lighting. PAA treatment changed the O 1s, Ti 2p, Pt 4f spectra XPS...

Kinetics of magnetic annealing in amorphous Fe5Co75Si4B16 were studied through the change anisotropy field. Preliminary experiments on as-cast specimens revealed irreversible and reversible processes. The portions isothermal kinetic data well fitted to (Hk−H∞k)/(H0k−H∞k)=B−m log t where m=−0.6+1.4×10−3 T. analyses a single time relaxation with first or second order evidently unsuccessful. Although further based broad distributions times, box Gaussian type, give dependence kinetics both do...

Structural characterization of AD-PZT films before and after millimeter-wave(MM) post-annealing was performed by glancing angle XRD(GAXRD), XPS Raman scattering methods the difference between MM conventional heating examined. From GAXRD analysis, existence small amount lead dioxide (or Pb3O4) indicated in conventionally-annealed PZT film, while scarcely detected MM-annealed films. Two different states oxygen surface layer annealed were analysis these assigned to lattice adsorbed oxygen,...

We investigated the minor M-H loop focussing especially on third harmonic component in and its DC-bias magnetic field for a sintered Y-Ba-Cu-O superconductor disk. found that; (1) is Rayleigh type, (2) constant depends shows singular hysteresis, (3) hysteresis symmetrical when sample cooled under zero-magnetic field, whereas it asymmetric field. These phenomena are qualitatively explainable using critical state model.

Ni-Co alloy is worth notice as a material for fabricating magnetoresistance element, because of the highest anisotropy (Δρ/ρ0) in ferromagnetic alloys. We studied and crystal structure on films system (40 Ni–60Co∼81Ni–19Co). In this study we found following facts: (1) A new ordered phase exists around at composition 50Ni–50Co prepared substrate temperature above about 550 °K. (2) This accompanied with newly proposed superstructure. (3) close relation between degree order, state have higher...

A new highly sensitive and reliable NDRO system based on the planar Hall effect has been developed for purpose of signal detection in thin film domain-wall motion devices. In this system, output channel these devices is placed perpendicular to magnetic easy axis element (PHE). The measured maximum sensitivity order 50 mV/A. For PHE tested, useful continuous current 20 mA, frequency response flat at least up 10 MHz. Upon switching domain tip channel, a voltage 1 mV obtained mA system. This...

We have investigated the low-field M-H minor loop of a sintered YBa2Cu3O7−δ disk (Tc=87 K at R=0) liquid nitrogen temperatures both in zero-field and field-cooled states. It is found that Rayleigh type with only odd harmonics Fourier series as well known ferromagnetic materials. The third harmonic component shows dc-bias field dependence symmetric asymmetric hysteresis respective low These results are qualitatively explained terms vortex dynamics associated losses an external bias field.
