Polyoxometalates (POMs) are a class of discrete molecular inorganic metal-oxide clusters with reversible multielectron redox capability. Taking advantage their properties, POMs thus expected to be directly involved in the lithium-sulfur batteries (Li-S, LSBs) system as bidirectional catalyst. Herein, we design three-dimensional porous structure reduced graphene-carbon nanotube skeleton supported POM catalyst high-conductive and high-stability host material. Based on various spectroscopic...
Lithium-sulfur batteries have attracted worldwide interest due to their high theoretical capacity of 1672 mAh g-1 and low cost. However, the practical applications are hampered by decay, mainly attributed polysulfide shuttle. Here, authors fabricated a solid core-shell γ-MnO2 -coated sulfur nanocomposite through redox reaction between KMnO4 MnSO4 . The multifunctional MnO2 shell facilitates electron Li+ transport as well efficiently prevents dissolution via physical confinement chemical...
Abstract Lithium‐sulfur batteries have recently attracted academic/industrial attention due to the high theoretical energy density. However, capacity decay mainly caused by polysulfides shuttle effect and poor conductivity of sulfur. Herein, in situ growth ZnCo 2 O 4 quantum dots (ZCO‐QDs) embedded into hollow carbon‐carrier sphere (HCS) form nanocapsule (ZCO‐QDs@HCS) as multifunctional sulfur host is rationally demonstrated. Based on density‐functional theory calculations, spectroscopic...
The fabrication of supramolecular chiral nanostructures from achiral materials without the need pre-existing chirality is a major challenge associated with origin life. Herein, twisted nanoribbons oligoaniline derivatives were prepared via simply performing chemical oxidation aniline in an alcohol/water mixed solvent. In particular, could be controlled by facilely tuning alcohol content A tetra-aniline derivative C24H20O3N4 was attested to component obtained nanoribbons. main driving forces...
Removals of Pb(II) and Zn(II) ions from water using crab (Clistocoeloma sinensis) shell particles as biosorbent have been compared in this study. Uptake equilibriums for two well described by Langmuir isotherm revealed that possessed higher uptake capacity (709 mg/g) than (117 mg/g). Kinetics data the metals were successfully modeled pseudo-second-order model, where initial rate was much faster Zn(II). Dubinin-Radushkevick modeling thermodynamic parameters hinted at different mechanisms...

ABSTRACT: This study focuses on the uptake of cadmium (Cd(II)) ion from water onto raw crab shells acting as a biosorbent. Experimental data were perfectly fitted to Langmuir and Dubinin‐Radushkevich models, while kinetics are well‐described using pseudo‐second‐order model. The effects experimental conditions isotherms discussed in detail. A thermodynamics has indicated that Cd(II) shell is an endothermic spontaneous process. For further understanding this process, possible mechanisms have...
Metals and metal oxides are widely used as catalysts for the electrochemical reduction of CO 2 .
A novel fabrication method for colloidal crystals has been proposed the first time in this research. In method, a suspension droplet containing particles was spread onto glass substrate placed an ethanol vapor environment, and then extracted from its center. that case, contact angle of reduced line receded toward center, during which self-assembled immobilized forming 2D crystal film on upon drying liquid film. Alternately spreading films could construct fine multi-layers crystals, while...
With the development of industrial control systems (ICS), advanced persistent threat (APT) attacks have become one important security threats faced by ICS. In recent years, APT against are common. As an means to improve active network defense, attack source tracing can timeliness and effectiveness defense. This paper introduces current situation, characteristics problems in system. Based on introduction traditional business systems, we discuss methods under Besides, also be reviewed. We...
