Abstract Objective. In this feasibility study, we explore an application of a Resistive Electrode Array (REA) for localization radioactive point source. The inverse problem posed by multichannel REA detection is studied from mathematical perspective and involves the questions minimal configuration conductive leads that can achieve goal. basic consists circularly shaped with four opposite electrical lead–pairs at its perimeter. Approach. A robust reconstruction method 3D source relative to...
We have developed a new type of detector array for monitoring radiation beams in radiotherapy. The has parallel-plane architecture with multiple large-area uniform thin-film electrodes. At least one the electrodes is resistive and signal readouts spread out along its perimeter. integral dose deposited gives rise to signals that depend on distribution respect electrode (REA) geometry. purpose present study was experimentally determine basic response MLC collimated x-ray fields. Two arrays...
In this study, we investigated the influence of ECG-triggering and respiration strategy choice on renal perfusion. To end, pCASL data healthy volunteers was acquired at 3T. Acquisitions processing followed PARENCHIMA consensus. Processing consisted groupwise registration, manual whole kidney segmentation automated cortex/medulla segmentation. All calculated perfusion values were close to expected range for individuals. Preliminary results from four subjects suggest cardiac cycle is...
