Polymer Ionic Liquid Stabilized Black Phosphorus for Environmental Robust Flexible Optoelectronics

ABSTRACT
Abstract Black phosphorus (BP) has attracted great attentions in the last few years, but their applications optoelectronics have been strongly hindered by poor environmental stability, especially under light irradiation. Herein, fabrication of surface passivated few‐layer BP assisted polymer ionic liquids (PILs) is reported. The PIL‐modified 2D exhibits excellent stability ambient conditions, with negligible deterioration 100 d. Furthermore, PILs attached on provide reliable and flexible electrical contact between other device components. As a proof concept, nanosheets are successfully applied photodetectors, which show high flexibility, good detectivity no obvious performance 120 h. This work demonstrates that PIL modification can endow conductivity, so may significantly expand optoelectronics.
