ABSTRACT
Abstract Filter‐free narrowband photomultiplication‐type planar heterojunction (PHJ) organic photodetectors (PM‐PHOPDs) are first realized by employing a thick front donor layer and an ultrathin PC 71 BM layer. The is employed as optical field adjusting (OFA) sequentially coated will diffuse slightly into OFA layer, which works interfacial electron traps to capture photogenerated electrons for assisting hole tunneling injection. P3HT/PC BM‐based PM‐PHOPDs exhibit response with full‐width of half‐maximum 32 nm external quantum efficiency (EQE) 1700% at 650 under −20 V bias. Due the enhanced transport reduced charge recombination in PHJ compared those bulk (BHJ), EQE twice P3HT:PC BHJ‐based PM‐OPDs same peak adjusted from 695 or 745 incorporating SMPV1 DRCN5T layers due red‐shifted absorption edge. EQEs 3600% 870% obtained P3HT:SMPV1 P3HT:DRCN5T‐based bias, respectively. This work provides smart strategy achieve designing different layers.
