ABSTRACT
In article number 2000364 by Yanyan Wang, Zefang and co-workers, an ultrasensitive rapid thrombin biosensor is developed based on rationally designed trifunctional protein HTs, comprising three functional units, including a far-red fluorescent smURFP, hydrophobin HGFI, cleavage site (TCS). smURFP used as detection signal to eliminate any interference from the autofluorescence of sample matrix increase sensitivity. HGFI serves adhesive unit allow immobilization HTs multiwall plate. The TCS linking functions sensing element recognize detect thrombin. As result, intensity surface plates changes depending concentration mechanism this relies ability active in samples specifically hydrolyze its fusion protein, resulting subsequent decrease fluorescence sample.
