ABSTRACT
Abstract The lack of acid stability in the stomach and temporal when moving through gastrointestinal (GI) tract has made development oral magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents based on platform Gd 3+ –complexes problematic. On other hand, negative enhancement produced by T 2 ‐weighted metal oxide nanoparticles (NPs) often renders image readout difficult. Biocompatible NPs manganese Prussian blue analog K Mn 3 [Fe II (CN) 6 ] exhibit extremely high under acidic conditions gastric juice. Additionally, r 1 relaxivity, low toxicity, such offer great potential for a true agent MRI entire GI tract.
