ABSTRACT
Memorization of the alignment nematic liquid crystals in electric fields is achieved by incorporating small amounts self-assembled fibers into crystals. Hydrogen-bonded formed electrically aligned phases direct liquid-crystal after removal (see Figure and cover). Rewritable bistable nematics light-scattering transparent states have been a combination thermal stimuli.
