ABSTRACT
Two dimensional metal nanoparticle arrays with a size gradient (see figure) are generated by shadow deposition of finely-collimated low energy cluster beam under an oblique incident configuration. The length the region is tunable from hundreds nanometers to several micrometers, adjusting angle beam. nanoparticles changes about one order magnitude across region.
