ABSTRACT
Novel donor–acceptor-type polymers, PTBPEQ and PDPEQ, are synthesized shown to be neutral-state green polymeric materials with excellent transmissive oxidized states. Exceptional long-term stability even after 5000 cycles, ease of electrochemical synthesis, extremely fast switching times make these polymers paramount choices for the component polymer electrochromic display applications.
