ABSTRACT
Enzyme-responsive protein nanocapsules are synthesized to release their cargoes in response specific enzymes secreted certain cellular events with both specificity and a controlled rate by composition tuning. The unique nanocapsule structures protect the encapsulated proteins during hydrogel synthesis, providing new direction for responsive delivery according or local environment.
