ABSTRACT
The triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) is a powerful approach toward new energy technology, especially for portable electronics. A theoretical model the sliding‐mode TENG presented in this work. finite element method was utilized to characterize distributions of electric potential, field, and charges on metal electrodes TENG. Based FEM calculation, semi‐analytical results from interpolation analytical V‐Q‐x relationship are built study equation validated through comparison with results. Furthermore, based equation, dynamic output performance calculated arbitrary load resistance, good agreement experimental data achieved. theory here milestone work in‐depth understanding working mechanism TENG, provides basis further enhancement both scavenging self‐powered sensor applications.
