ABSTRACT
Ultralong carbon nanotubes (CNTs) exhibit extraordinary mechanical tensile strength of over 100 GPa, and a Young's modulus 1 TPa. CNTs are considered to be one the strongest materials ever found overwhelming advantages for storing energy. In particular, great potential fabricating flywheels store kinetic energy with both high density power density, as discussed by Rufan Zhang, Fei Wei, co-workers in article number 1800680.
