ABSTRACT
Unlike conventional topological materials that carry states at their boundaries, higher-order are able to support boundaries of such as corners and hinges. While band topology has been recently extended into thermal diffusion for metamaterials, its realization is limited a 1D lattice, lacking access the topology. In this work, experimental reported insulator in generalized 2D lattice. The corner observed bandgap rate bulk, consequence anti-Hermitian nature Hamiltonian. protection these demonstrated with stability profile presence amorphous deformation. This work constitutes first purely diffusive systems opens door future management beyond geometries.
