ABSTRACT
Intelligent rewritable display systems have been long expected to reduce the heavy consumption of single-use or transient devices in age Internet-of-Things. However, it remains challenging construct such with integrated functionality remote control, rapid activation, multicolor and multimode display. Herein, by learning from unique multilayer arrangement chromatophores chameleon skins, a promising kind hydrogel is presented that can combine merits near-infrared (NIR) light-writing projecting modes for on-demand information Specifically, typical layout consisting poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS)-sealed carbon nanotubes (CNTs) film as photothermal control unit embedded fluorescent hydrogels unit, which thermoresponsive constrained within non-responsive hydrogel. Such rational structure design results establishment one mechanism via cascading "light trigger-heat generation-fluorescence output" process. On this basis, reversible hand-written arbitrary achieved 5 s. Also, sustainable light-projecting predesigned patterns demonstrated due ensures easy patterning layer. This study brings functional-integrated novel open new possibility high-end products display/transmission.
