ABSTRACT
Photocatalysis has emerged as a promising method for industrial sewage elimination. The main bottleneck of this process is the development an efficient, stable, and cost‐effective catalyst that can oxidize pollution under visible light. Herein, surface disorders Bi nanoparticles are successfully introduced into BiOCl x I 1− nanosheets using low‐cost NaBH 4 reductant in liquid‐phase environment. Benefiting from enhanced charge separation, transfer, donor density resulting formation disorders, deposition cocatalyst, photocatalytic performance reductive fivefold higher than untreated phenol degradation light irradiation. Additionally, have superior stability after five cycles.
