ABSTRACT
Abstract A programmable hybrid circuit is proposed, which composed of two reconfigurable spoof surface plasmon polariton (SPP) waveguides loaded with varactor diodes and a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW). By manipulating their dispersion behaviors, the band‐pass effect achieved in circuit, upper lower cutoff frequencies are determined by SPP SIW, respectively. When configured to have same frequency that higher than SIW's cutoff, proposed can realize power division; when one reconfigured reject waves from this will be filter. As typical application, logic “OR” gate 2‐bit coding designed programming bias voltages applied on unit structures waveguides. All functions demonstrated measurement results agree numerical simulations very well. The work provides more potential applications multifunctional circuits digital communication systems.
