ABSTRACT
Abstract The upconversion lasing through simultaneous multiphoton absorption (MPA) is a high‐order nonlinear optical process, which enables many critical applications in the fluorescence imaging probe, laser tomography, and photodynamic therapy. Herein, from microwires via six‐photon at room temperature first realized. Moreover, peak third‐harmonic generation of pumping light are observed concurrently, while temperature‐dependent spectrum elucidates essential distinction between each other. In addition, low‐threshold excited whispering‐gallery mode based on strong confinement hexagonal microcavity investigated comprehensively. results prove that it feasible to realize MPA using high Q‐factor microcavity, can be promoted other wide bandgap semiconductor micro‐/nanostructure generate frequency lasing.
