ABSTRACT
Abstract In this article, a sustainable, multifunctional, low‐cost, wireless sensor tag is presented. The combines three different environmental sensors in one single platform for the dedicated purpose of structural health monitoring variety applications. However, adaptive design allows integration depending on specific sensing task. material consumption minimized by double‐sided printing, resulting compact, resource‐efficient solutions. On side, equipped with printed antenna, fully passive silicon‐based near‐field communication chip and carbon‐based strain sensor, while humidity temperature are other side. Due to its low cost, usage environmentally friendly materials absence battery, biface milestone field wireless, sustainable electronics ubiquitous fabrication itself comprises series processes focus efficient additive manufacturing. characterization shows sensitivity values characteristics comparable those found literature industrially manufactured sensors. utilization smartphone reading out signals further emphasizes approach system.
