ABSTRACT
Abstract Interfacial solar steam generation (ISSG) has received increasing attention in both industry and academia, is considered a method with great potential for wastewater treatment desalination. These practical applications require materials that fulfil several requirements: being low cost, scalable terms of processing, environmentally friendly, having high, stable optical–thermal conversion efficiency vaporization. Currently, biomass show very promising prospects ISSG systems. Here, it observed bamboo charcoal (BC) possesses series unique advantages make highly efficient device. The broadband light absorption the arched porous structural features BC all basic requirements an device localized heating, heat management, water supply. self‐contained demonstrates high evaporation (84% under 1 sun radiation) superb stability strongly acidic, alkaline, intense environment conditions. More importantly, can provide fresh production simultaneously promotes purification via by heating. Finally, sustainable, mechanically robust, long‐term opportunity desalination underdeveloped areas.
