ABSTRACT
Abstract When the boiler is operated at different loads, characteristics of ash deposition in will change accordingly. In this paper, a 660MW tangentially fired power taken as research object. The combustion and on walls are studied by numerical simulation. results show that: 1) middle lower part furnace wall, more particles deposited, temperature higher CO concentration higher, so slagging easy to occur. 2) accumulation bottom hopper mainly comes from two layers burners for >98%. 3) ratio negatively correlated with height burner. 4) With particle diameter increasing, burner increases significantly. Selecting pulverized coal size 65 µm can reduce risk deposition.
