Developing Cortical Interneuronsin Schizophrenia The elusive human brain is much like the unattainable sun, and there no directly feasible approach to understand how disturbed during development of schizophrenia. As shimmering sun's reflection in water, organoid provides an accessible bridge explore mysteries brain. In article number 2300455, Peiyan Ni, Chuqing Zhou, Sangmi Chung, co-workers confirm hypermethylation dysregulated expression SHANK3 schizophrenia patient-derived cortical interneurons-rich organoid, which serves as a pathological changes by measuring methylation peripheral blood mononuclear cells biomarker.
