ABSTRACT
Advanced Janus Film for Periodontitis Treatment In article number 2305756, Xuehui Zhang, Xue Qu, and co‐workers report a salt effect modulated electro‐assembly technique for collagen film to customize its porous microstructures and functional salt components. This water‐based fabrication method is simple, fast, and enables programmable creation of collagen films with controlled porosity, pore size and salt composition. Specifically, a customized bioactive Janus film with a dense and an anti‐inflammatory drug modulated porous layer is constructed using a sequentially electro‐assembly for periodontitis treatment application. The coupling of porous microstructures and specific anti‐inflammatory composition inside the Janus film provides asymmetric cellular regulations and synergistically immunomodulatory functions, demonstrates a potential for inflammation suppression and alveolar bone regeneration promotion.
