ABSTRACT
ECMO Thrombosis‐on‐a‐Chip Model In article number 2401524, Anna Waterhouse and colleagues developed an ECMO thrombosis‐on‐a‐chip model, providing real‐time visualisation of thrombosis with customisable medical device biomaterials and flow regimes. Low flow rates, flow gradients, and tubing material polyvinyl chloride increase platelet adhesion. This model can identify conditions that exacerbate clotting and evaluate approaches to reduce thrombotic complications and improve treatment safety. [Image: see text]
