ABSTRACT
Regenerative braking system is a promising technology for electrical vehicles, in which the excess kinetic energy can be effectively collected and utilized. As new based on contact electrification, triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) suitable harvesting dissipated systems. Herein, dual mode rotary TENG (DMR‐TENG) reported, installed bicycle disc brake collecting riding mode. First, electric generation mechanism of DMR‐TENG analyzed then characteristics different structural kinematic parameters by simulation experiment are investigated. Furthermore, linkage designed two modes switching controlling distance between layers DMR‐TENG. The results illustrate that simultaneously illuminate 156 serial LEDs as warning signal while braking. In addition, it charge 300 μF capacitor act power source to drive speedometer, measure speed real time. considerable prospect vehicle demonstrated may have potential application intelligent transportation.
