Abstract Background Down Syndrome [DS] is the most frequent cause of genetic developmental and intellectual disability. The lifetime risk Alzheimer’s Disease [AD] in people with DS more than 90%, an earlier age onset general population. There ongoing debate whether there are significant differences dementia presentation specific context DS, some studies suggesting a predominantly frontal phenotype behavioural symptoms others amnestic presentation. aim this study was to characterize initial cognitive profile AD cohort Argentinian adults DS.
