ABSTRACT
Abstract Visual neglect after stroke is often associated with a failure to explore contralesional space. Here, we show that guanfacine, noradrenergic agonist modulates dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, improves leftward space exploration in selected right‐hemisphere patients neglect. The positive effects of guanfacine were extended ability maintain attention on task. results suggest neuropharmacological targeting intact frontal areas might be one way enhance cognitive function damage posterior brain regions individuals.
