ABSTRACT
Abstract The shape‐controlled synthesis of multicomponent metal nanocrystals (NCs) bounded by high‐index facets (HIFs) is significant importance in the design and high‐activity catalysts. We report herein preparation Pt–Ni alloy NCs tuning their shape from concave‐nanocubic (CNC) to nanocubic hexoctahedral (HOH). Owing synergy HIFs electronic effect alloy, as‐prepared CNC HOH exhibited excellent catalytic properties for electrooxidation methanol formic acid, as well oxygen reduction reaction (ORR).
