ABSTRACT
Abstract Synthetic polymer approaches generally lack the ability to control primary sequence, with sequence referred as holy grail. Two click chemistry reactions were now combined form nucleobase‐containing sequence‐controlled polymers in simple polymerization reactions. distinct are used these nucleic acid (CNA) polymers. These employ thiol–ene and thiol‐Michael homopolymers of a single nucleobase (e.g., poly(A) n ) or specific repeating sequences poly(ATC) ). Furthermore, incorporation monofunctional thiol‐terminated into system enables preparation multiblock copolymers reaction vessel; length diblock copolymer can be tuned by stoichiometric ratio and/or monomer functionality. also for organogel formation where complementary CNA‐based reversible crosslinks.
