ABSTRACT
Abstract Monitoring of human serum albumin (HSA) in a point‐of‐care fashion is urgently needed particular for elderly or chronically ill patients. Herein, dual‐state emissive chalcone probe having the feature aggregation‐induced emission was designed and synthesized. The concentration HSA can be evaluated by ratios from probes aggregated monomeric state, which gives visually discernible red‐to‐green color change. A simple, portable paper‐based analytical device have been fabricated integration recognition detection pad employed test using whole blood samples. This assay shows capability comparable to standard testing methods but fashion, providing promising tool at‐home HSA‐related disease diagnosis.
