ABSTRACT
Abstract Irregular Li deposition is the major reason for poor reversibility and cycle instability in metal batteries, even leading to safety hazards, causes of which have been extensively explored. The structural disconnection induced by completely dissolving traditional testing protocol a key factor accounting irregular growth during subsequent process. Herein, critical role played connectivity electrochemical reservoir behaviors elucidated morphology‐performance correlation established. connection resultant well‐distributed morphology situ ensure efficient electron transfer + diffusion pathway, finally homogenized nucleation growth. Tailoring geometry can improve coulombic efficiency cyclability anode‐free batteries optimizing behavior.
