ABSTRACT
Abstract Constructing inorganic–organic hybrids with superior properties in terms of water adsorption and activation will lead to catalysts significantly enhanced electrocatalytic activity the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) environmentally benign neutral media. Herein, we report SiO 2 –polypyrrole (PPy) hybrid nanotubes supported on carbon fibers (CFs) (SiO /PPy NTs–CFs) as inexpensive high‐performance electrocatalysts for HER Because strong electronic interactions between PPy, uniquely serves centers activation, accordingly promotes HER. The metal‐free NTs–CFs displayed high catalytic media, such a low onset potential small Tafel slope, well excellent long‐term durability.
