ABSTRACT
2‐Hydroxybenzaldehyde‐4‐allyl‐S‐methylisothiosemicarbazone and Cu (II), Co (III), Fe (III) Cr complexes were synthesized characterized. The new obtained compounds investigated by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility measurements, molar electric conductivity, IR, 1 H NMR, 13 C UV–Vis spectroscopy. In addition, the structure of ligand six has been determined single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. atom in complex 3 is penta‐coordinated a distorted square–pyramidal coordination geometry, while metals 5 – 9 are octahedral environment. For all antimicrobial activity was studied on series standard strains, such as Staphylococcus aureus , Escherichia coli Enterococcus faecalis Salmonella abony Candida albicans . vitro antiproliferative screened human leukemia HL‐60 cells, cervical epithelial HeLa pancreatic adenocarcinoma BxPC‐3 muscle rhabdomyosarcoma spindle large multinucleated RD cells. primary screening wider cancer cells showed that copper compound 2 manifests high towards HeLa, which three–six times higher than doxorubicin. selectivity index ratio between IC 50 value for normal MDCK values varies range 2.44–21.17. This 5.5–11 6–9 manifest antioxidant ABTS •+ exceeds 47–67 Trolox.
