ABSTRACT
Three multinuclear Cu (II), Zn (II) and Cd complexes, [Cu 2 (L)( μ‐ OAc)]·CHCl ( 1 ), [Zn OAc)(H O)]·3CHCl 3 ) [{Cd (L)(OAc)(CH CH OH)} ]·2CH OH with a single‐armed salamo‐like dioxime ligand H L have been synthesized, characterized by FT‐IR, UV–vis, X‐ray crystallography Hirshfeld surfaces analyses. The has linear structure C‐H···π interactions between the two molecules. complex is dinuclear complex, Cu1 Cu2 are all five‐coordinate possessing distorted square pyramidal geometries. also forms structure, Zn1 Zn2 bearing trigonal bipyramidal symmetrical tetranuclear Cd1 hexa‐coordinate having octahedral configuration Cd2 hepta‐coordinate pentagonal geometry, it π···π inside molecule. In addition, fluorescence properties of its complexes – discussed.
