ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT The removal of dyes from wastewater using stable adsorbents is well documented in numerous scientific reports. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate a composite graphitic carbon nitride nanosheet (g‐C 3 N 4 NS) and the biopolymer alginate for Congo red (CR) dye aqueous media. To address challenges associated with independent use calcium g‐C NS water, particularly regarding recovery issues, silica‐coated magnetic nanoparticles (SMNPs) were incorporated into composite. achieve objective, an alginate‐based bioadsorbent was synthesized by crosslinking sodium chloride presence SMNPs situ method. Structural characterization conducted BET, TGA, TEM, FE‐SEM, EDX‐Mapping analyses. Subsequently, utilized remove CR dye. influence various parameters, including initial concentration, contact time, adsorbent dosage, pH, subsequently investigated. According isotherm models, linear Langmuir model exhibited good fit experimental data CR, indicating maximum adsorption capacity 68.03 mg g −1 at pH 5 within 120 min. has potential pave way novel applications both organic inorganic transformations, as physical or chemical remediation diverse pollutants.
