ABSTRACT
Herein, the preparation of Co 3 O 4 QDs‐Ag 2 MoO (AMO) heterojunction was reported by a facile hydrothermal method and characterized physicochemical methods such as Fourier transformed infrared (FT‐IR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM), energy‐dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), transmission (TEM), differential reflectance (DRS), photoluminescence (PL), UV–Vis. The SEM images show that AMO particles QDs‐AMO have morphology 3D‐hexagons nanosheets accumulated on surface with an average 36 28 nm in size, respectively. photocatalyst used toward conversion methylene blue removal percentage 91%, which is 15 times more than pure AMO. higher photoactivity should be assigned to its lower charge recombination rate compared nanoparticles. This removed from mixture reaction reused five without considerable decline activity. Furthermore, postulated mechanism hydroxyl radical (°OH) path proposed.
