ABSTRACT
From the perspective of possible antiviral and antibacterial activity vanadium‐based complexes, we report synthesis new Schiff base ligand ( L 4 ) a Schiff‐base‐vanadium complex C 2 ). Both were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy Nuclear magnetic resonance techniques. Single‐crystal X‐ray Diffraction analysis has been used to confirm structure . In addition, 1–4 1–3 tested for their effects against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus Among compounds, demonstrated most potent inhibition both bacteria, exhibiting lowest values minimum inhibitory concentration (CMI) bactericidal (CMB) (CMI = 0.16, CMB 0.31 E. , CMI 0.16 S. Additionally, produced largest zones with diameters 15.5 ± 0.15 14.5 0.04 Furthermore, efficacy 1 3 RNA viruses was assessed. exhibited among compounds.
