ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT This work aimed to evaluate the effects of processing parameters on properties dynamically revulcanized blends based 60 wt % devulcanized ground tire rubber (GTR) and 40 high density polyethylene (HDPE). Devulcanization GTR was carried out in a system comprised conventional microwave oven adapted with motorized stirring speed control. The resulting contained 26 soluble toluene. It processed HDPE twin screw extruder produce blend. Processing such as feeding mode were varied. Their evaluated tensile, dynamic mechanical, thermal rheological properties, well morphology. results show importance involved production phase extruder, good match between residence time its revulcanization kinetics. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
