ABSTRACT
Abstract Random copolymers of styrene and substituted styrenes bearing arylamino substituents as fluorophore units have been obtained. Their photophysical properties investigated by measuring absorption emission spectra in solutions solid‐state. All proved to possess absolute quantum yields up 0.39 solution 0.05 solid‐state, depending on their substituents. Fluorescence studies shown that these show a highly sensitive response towards diversity nitroaromatic compounds, both vapor phase. The detection limits for compounds model explosives dichloromethane be the range from 10 −6 −7 mol/L. fluorescent materials prepared electrospinning synthesized evaluated sensor detecting nitrobenzene our hand‐made sniffer with 0.5 ppm during 100‐s exposure vapor.
