ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT This work focuses on developing and evaluating a pH‐sensitive biopolymeric hydrogel by utilizing solventless green approach method involving Citric acid, 1,2 propanediol, Furoic acid. The two‐step condensation reaction is implemented to execute the straightforward poly‐esterification process. formation of was detected applying techniques FTIR NMR ( 1 H 13 C) spectroscopy. Swelling equilibrium studies hydrogels were investigated in variety pH conditions, ranging from 2.0 11.0. findings swelling percentages suggested that proportion substantially higher at alkaline than acidic pH. Scanning electron microscopy investigation demonstrated hydrogel's leaf like structure its porous nature. synthesized had an excellent antibacterial zone inhibition against gram‐positive pathogen Bacillus subtilis . Molecular Docking DFT computational analysis investigate compounds' mechanism action with drugs. It demonstrates furoic acid propanediol contribute achieving biological activity. Blood–brain barrier (BBB) value this compound favors well drug implies it overcomes toxicities resistance.
