ABSTRACT
Amino acids are an important class of primary metabolites that can exhibit various pharmacological activities. In this study, the comparative gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis free and total amino in seeds three representatives Nigella L. genus (Nigella arvensis L., damascena [cultivar "Rizdvyana zirochka"], sativa "Faraon"]) was conducted under their cultivation Ukraine. Regarding state acids, 11 were detected raw material N. damascena, 9 found both arvensis. It highest content L-aspartic acid, specifically 50.359 mg/g (cultivar zirochka"), 33.816 "Faraon"), 31.028 revealed L-leucine, L-valine, L-tyrosine dominated among essential all studied samples. L-glycine L-proline had amounts semiessential while L-glutamic L-phenylalanine predominant nonessential group. Some sp. possess significant therapeutic potential.
