ABSTRACT
Abstract Introduction Somatic symptom disorder ( SSD ) is an illness that occurs over a long time and results in significant disruption daily life. Clinically, patients typically express complaints involve variety of organ systems. However, the neural mechanism remains poorly understood. Methods Using resting‐state functional magnetic resonance imaging, we investigated characteristics regional basal brain function during resting state with . Eleven treatment‐naïve 12 age‐matched healthy controls were recruited this study. Between‐group differences homogeneity values analyzed. Results Compared control group, group showed increases right medial prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex supramarginal gyrus, decreases bilateral middle occipital superior gyrus cuneus left postcentral cerebellum. Meanwhile, value positively correlated total duration Conclusions The abnormal patterns activity may contribute to understanding
