ABSTRACT
The influence of the content a hydrophilic Pd(II) compound (disodium tetrachloropalladate, Na2PdCl4) on its adsorption and nanoparticle (NP) formation in pores hydrophobic micro/mesoporous hypercrosslinked polystyrene (HPS) was systematically investigated. morphology composition HPS-Pd nanocomposites were studied using transmission electron microscopy, X-ray fluorescence measurements, liquid nitrogen physisorption. size Pd-containing NP found to depend compound. Catalytic testing these partial hydrogenation acetylene alcohols carried out illustrate catalytic activity. highest activity achieved for HPS/Pd-0.1 %, forming small NP.
