ABSTRACT
Abstract In recent years, the atom‐doping strategy has attracted extensive attention in lithium‐sulfur batteries. The reasonable structure design and introduction of doping atoms into sulfur cathode materials not only improve utilization rate active but also catalyze redox kinetics polysulfides, which greatly improves electrochemical performance However, understanding functional mechanism conversion at micro levels is still limited. Hence, it very crucial to explore influence on electronic arrangement sites. Herein, development atomic batteries reviewed, structure‐activity relationship between doped adsorption lithium polysulfide analyzed. Furthermore, catalytic mechanisms were unmasked from microscopic perspectives, namely ion transport, surface structure, energy band state density.
