ABSTRACT
Main observation and conclusion Two chelating guanidinate‐based dysprosium(III) complexes, namely the monomeric {(Me 3 Si) 2 NC(N i Pr) } Dy( μ ‐Cl) Li(THF) 1 dimeric [{(Me ‐Cl)] 2, have been confirmed to be single‐molecule magnets. Moreover, alteration from leads an obvious mitigated quantum tunnelling of magnetization at zero field hysteresis loop much enhanced magnetic relaxation barrier (up 312 K). 5% dilution with yttrium(III) analogue for shows no clear change hysteresis, indicating single‐ion nature behavior.
