ABSTRACT
Abstract Background There is great heterogeneity in the quality of care among hospitals China, but studies on performance measures and prognosis patients with heart failure (HF) are still deficient. Hypothesis Performance have been used as a guideline to clinicans, however, association between them outcomes HF China remains unclear. Methods We analyzed 4497 from Heart Failure Registry Patient Outcomes study. were determined according guidelines, divided into four groups based composite score. Multiple imputation Cox proportional‐hazard regression models assess clinical outcomes. Results Overall, only 12.5% met top 25% measures, whereas 33.5% bottom measures. A total 992 (22.2%) died within 1 year, involving larger proportion who had than (27.0% vs. 16.3%, respectively). The lower 1‐year mortality rate (adjusted hazard ratio: 0.78, 95% confidence interval: 0.61–0.98). Conclusions appeared follow dose–response pattern degree compliance being associated HF. Accordingly, for needs be further improved.
