ABSTRACT
Abstract Three‐dimensional (3D) urchin‐shaped free‐standing composite electrodes were produced by the integration of single‐ and multi‐layer graphene manganese oxide in a step‐wise procedure. The strong interactions between components confirmed spectroscopic characterization techniques. influence on electrochemical performance was investigated detail. Single‐layer with more oxygen functional groups showed better interfacial each component due to exfoliated structure. electrode containing single‐layer exhibited 28% higher specific capacitance 452 F/g at scan rate 1 mV/s compared that graphene. After 1000 cycles charging‐discharging, single platelet graphene‐based high retention 89% improved synergistic effects combination conductive PANI, platelets graphene, oxide. This study indicated importance intercalated state behavior supercapacitor electrodes.
