ABSTRACT
Summary This paper proposes a multi‐loads capacitive power transfer (CPT) system based on single relay plate for railway monitoring systems. The proposed can supply wirelessly to the trackside and train carriages simultaneously eliminate traditional cables connection prevent frequent battery replacement. Unlike multiple loads CPT systems, uses only one plate, which is more stable uncomplicated considering coupler installation space moving dynamically in system. adopts CL‐LCLC‐CL compensation network achieve load‐independent output. limitation of charging load quantity given detail voltage stress distribution. An experimental prototype with three also built verify effectiveness Experimental results show that achieves wireless two receiver repeater side. property achieved when are removed. maximum efficiency about 87.13%.
