Abstract Preclinical Research The A urora family of serine/threonine kinases plays important roles in process cell division or mitosis. Overexpression , B and C has been identified many human cancers including colon carcinoma cells. To date, a number small molecular inhibitors have developed for reducing activities tumor cells preclinical clinical trials. In this study, we describe the properties AM ‐005, novel orally active / kinase inhibitor. ‐005 irreversibly inhibited proliferation levels phospho‐ H istone 3 lines. Defective mitosis was also visualized ‐005‐treated HT29 by microscopy. Flow cytometric analysis showed that induced accumulation with > 4N DNA content time concentration‐dependent manner, underwent severe apoptosis at 72 h.
